the key word here is elderly people and babies. 

which is why most people say to check up on the elderly especially during heatwaves because they’re more likely to die from it.

Okay listen up. I live in the UK and we’ve been experiencing a heatwave for two weeks now.  We live in a country which is used to having lots of rain and mild temperatures. We are NOT used to temperatures of 33C or above. Hell, we’re not used to temperatures of 23C and above.

Unlike other countries, our homes are not installed with air-conditioning. If you want air-conditioning, you either have to pay for it yourself or go to a supermarket and stand by the freezers - it doesn’t come with the house.

It’s all very well saying “oh I live in a place where it’s 110 degrees, bitches in the UK are wimps" - but I repeat: WE’RE NOT FUCKING USED TO IT. SO RESPECT THAT.

Stop being assholes you guys.

And for those of you who live in 110F weather.

If you live up north and were exposed to their winters YOU WOULD THINK 40F OR SOMETHING OF THAT DEGREE IS FREEZING

WHEN IN REALITY TO US ITS A WALK IN THE PARK

So yeah. Different parts of the country/world have different climates and temperatures so please respect that. Its something you cant change.
